This berlinetta, built specifically to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, was based on a traditional design with its front-mounted engine and a tubular chassis made from large diameter tubing. However its cut-off tail and and its low barycentre are evidence of the remarkable technical progress being made as a result of advanced aerodynamic research.
